The Story of Self
My pursuit of photography started in 2005 when I first purchased my Canon Rebel XT (aka my first DSLR). I mainly photographed cosplayers and crafts for my Etsy store. And that lasted for a year. Fast forward to early 2017, I was at the stress peak of planning my wedding. My search for a wedding photographer inspired me to pick up the camera and shoot again--not because I think I can do better and at a reasonable price, but because I know I'm the only one who cares the most about the event. And I know that I care about every wedding I go to, because it's a beautiful celebration of two souls who finally found each other.

And don't worry, I'm not shooting with the same camera from 2005.

So what else can I say about me, I mean, that's why you're here, right? Well, I am a full-time board-game geek, video-game nerd, ukelele-enthusiast, keto-dieter, dog-lover, and storyteller at a healthcare company. Photography is my passion, and I believe that passion is the fuel and focus for most things in life. I'm fortunate enough to have this as a passion project, which means this isn't just a job for me. When you do something you thoroughly enjoy, the result is often more rewarding and superior, don't you agree?

My first and only goal is to make you look good. Seriously. I want to make you look so good, you want to show these photos to everyone you know and the ones you don't know.

As someone who has already been through the wedding planning and DIY experience, I fully and completely understand the mindset of a bride and of someone who expects high standards from others. I was there. I had a budget. And no matter where you skim and save, you always seem to go over budget. However, choosing a photographer is one of a series of important choices for your event, whether it's just for a family session, a maternity session, an engagement session, an elopement, or a full-blown wedding. And don't skimp on this decision!
Together, let's have fun while being ourselves. Let's work out a budget. Let's both be weirdos and enjoy the flaws and stress of wedding planning. Let's take silly photos and laugh. Let's both look forward to preserving a memorable and magical moment for ages to come. Let's be "cheese"-y together :)
The Story of Now
We live in a digital world. We share stories, images, videos, and experiences with our friends and family. Good friends don't let friends post bad photos of themselves. The best photos are ones with real emotions. I really enjoy seeing the genuine emotions from every one of my clients. I want to capture beautiful memories and create something meaningful. I recognize that may not be the best, but I always give it my best. I want to produce timeless photos. And I need your help to get there.
